I am down to only one more OB apt. and then we have baby # 2. Harold and Gracie came to the doctors with me today so they could hear the heart beat. I wasn't expecting Gracie to care but she did! When my doctor started to move the wand across my belly Gracie said "listen" and then when the heart beat came on she gently put her hand on my belly. It was a really Sweet moment. I think she knew something was in there somehow. I know she is young but she is so in touch, she loves to play with my belly. Harold taught her to call me big belly and it make me smile everytime ( only comming from her). Eight days left!

Happy to see daddy

Gracie and I usually are home alone in the evenings as that is when Harold is at work. Today he worked a different shift and was home in time for dinner. Gracie and I were already at the table when he pulled in the drive. I said daddy's home and she light up. But her true feelings over took her as he walked in the door calling her name. She started bouncing in her booster seat and screaming with joy. It made Harold smile a huge proud daddy smile. I love my family and wouldn't trade them for anything.

I should be doing homework

I used to get online at night and go straight to work on my school work. Then I really got into email, and then a website called moneysavingmom.com and now my blog. So before I ever get any work done I spend three hours playing on the Internet doing basically nothing. So around 1 AM I finally get school work done and call it a night. While this is so not productive it is a lot of fun. I am happy to report that I have ten days left until we have a new baby around the house. I am SO ready to not be pregnant anymore. I forgot how awful you feel the last few weeks. Getting up off any chair, bed, floor is impossible so is driving, peeing, sex, anything but eating and sleeping is out of the question. I walked about four miles last night with Gracie and some friends for trick or treating and I felt it today. I felt like my belly was a rock and my legs concreted to the floor. okay enough stalling better do some work

DUH

Harold and I have been invited to a very formal wedding with required black attire. I am excited to have a fun fanciful evening without what will be kids and just enjoy my dashing looking husband. As Harold was reading the invitation I said that I had nothing to wear and needed to start looking through the clearance racks now. Harold gave me a look and said not to be in a hurry. I started in on my speech as to women take so long on to find a great outfit and why it was important.....He stopped me mid way through, patted my 9 month pregnant belly and said to wait until after I have the baby!

Carmel Apples

I was trying to be a Marth Stewart wife and make carmel apples for my husbands coworkers at Starbucks. I didn't read a reciepe, how hard can it be. So I melted the carmel and for some reason thought I needed to put a little oil in the pot with it. After dipping my first apple into my melted carmel I realized that there is more to making carmel apples than carmel and apples. And I really should not have used any oil. All the carmel just rolled off the apple and wouldn't stick because of the oil. Now we are eating apples on a stick just for fun. Now Harold has yet another kitchen blunder to poke fun at me with.

First Post

This is my first post ever on my very own blog that my lovely sister created for me. According to her I am not computer savvy enough so this was my jump start. Well I am doing this instead of homework..that is what I do best these days.

Question of the Day

HOW MANY PEOPLE DOES IT TAKE TO GET A PREGNANT WOMAN'S SHOES ON HER?
